How’s Your “Time To”?

If you’re like most organizations we talk to, the time it’s taking you to roll out a new application, analyze new data sets, reach virtualization goals, etc., isn’t what you’d like it to be or — more importantly — what lines of business want it to be. Your “time to” is simply too high. And that hurts your business.

But if you’re like most organizations, while you know backup is a problem, you may not know just how big a problem it really is (do you think of backup in traditional IT terms only?) or what to do to fix it (do you think people and process or are you just “band-aiding” symptoms?).

Good news! This coming Wednesday (June 13), senior product marketing manager Mark Doncov and I are doing an EMC Live Webcast that will put backup in this business-relevant light.

So, nope, we’re not going to bombard you with speeds and feeds, nor will we pitch a bunch of products. Promise.

What we will do is help you better understand why backup transformation is necessary and how, through three simple steps, your organization can turn backup from an IT bottleneck into a true business-enabler, benefiting you, your entire IT organization and your business.

It’s going to be a good discussion, so please join us if you can.
