- Why Backup Transformation Is Needed

Based on the conversations we’re having in the field with all different types of organizations – big, small, public and private – and the market research data third-party firms are continuously churning out, many of you know the feeling all-too well.
And it’s not just backup administrators who are telling us they’re feeling squeezed, but also server, hypervisor, application and storage administrators. And there’s a reason for this. Yes, data volumes are growing massively. But it’s really end-user expectations that are driving IT behaviors and the need for smarter backup.

This means the bar is a lot higher, for IT in general and backup in particular.”
Backup is the square peg. But it doesn’t have to be. You just need to make sure have the right technologies and processes in place to support today’s environment.
