Ok, this is the part where I tell you about my years of experience in backup and recovery. Let’s just say when I got into this business tape was relevant. I guess historical perspective can have some advantages. Today, I’m riding a second wave of relevancy with the emergence of backup and recovery as a true business enabler. Really, backup is back! Just check out Backup Game Day; it explains it all. If I wasn’t fortunate enough to have this amazing gig, I’d probably be trying to make it in a band playing my guitar or perhaps coaching youth sports or devoting more time to several sports I have been trying to get good at for the last 30 years, like golf, surfing and wine tasting.
